Pre-session information

Pre-session information

Before arranging an initial consultation to explore whether we may be a good fit to work together, please read through the information below. It answers many of the practical questions you may have about availability, fees, accessibility, and confidentiality.

When are sessions available?

Wednesdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Additional ad-hoc sessions may occasionally be available.

How much do you charge?

The fee is £70 per 50-minute session. The same fee applies for both in-person and online sessions.

Where do sessions take place?

Face-to-face sessions take place in the Mare Street Wing of St Joseph’s Hospice, Hackney, London E8 4SA. Sessions are also available via Zoom.

How accessible is your office?

The Mare Street Wing of St Joseph’s Hospice is not step-free. The office is on the second floor and there is no lift access.

Are our sessions confidential?

Yes. Attendance and session content are treated confidentially, with the usual professional limits around serious risk, safeguarding, terrorism, and trafficking.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies from client to client. Therapy often begins with an initial 6 to 8 sessions and may then continue on an open-ended basis.

Do you accept insurance or EAP clients?

No. I work exclusively with privately paying clients and can provide receipts for payments made.

Do you work with anyone under 18?

No. I work only with adults aged 18 and over.
